Humor has been viewed as a way to look at a situation from a different point of view, to diffuse a crisis, and to provide an opportunity for increased insight and objectivity. Humor matters in our relationships. Humor matters in preventing the buildup of stress. Humor matters in our perspective of life, and it thrives between humanity’s aspirations and its limitations.
